In addition to his gaming career, Yumi was now gaining notoriety for his partaking in shenanigans on Discord with some of his friends. He began appearing in videos by isaacwhy and Softwilly later that year. Around that time, in mid-2020, is when he started talking to members of The Group. Yumi reached 1 million subscribers in July 2020. In the same month, Yumi's main channel soared past 500,000 subscribers, making him an established creator in the gaming scene. TooYumi's first video was uploaded on May 14, 2019. On this channel, he would begin to upload more variety content, with a focus on reaction-based videos. In May 2019, he launched a second channel, known as TooYumi. Yumi eventually reached 100,000 subscribers in April 2018.īy late 2018, Yumi was consistently uploading videos that gained significant traction. The direct sequel to this video, uploaded in September 2017, generated even more popularity. In April 2017, he uploaded one of his first videos to gain major traction, garnering over 1 million views. He did not gain much traction at first, but would slowly become more popular as he posted more Rainbow Six Siege videos. His first currently public video was uploaded on June 8, 2016. Yumi created his channel on July 24, 2012. Though, TooYumi uploads the occasional gaming video as well. These videos commonly feature Yumi reacting to compilation videos by users such as Daily Dose Of Internet, or other users who gather strange and/or funny videos. On TooYumi, he uploads more reaction-based content. He also uploads videos on other random games, commonly featuring other content creators such as SMii7Y, Grizzy, McNasty, and Blarg. The content on Yumi's main channel mainly consists of gaming videos, many of which are centered around Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
